    本研究では、主に生体構造の再構成の観点から広汎な脱抑制による脳の超適応機構をモデル化することに取り組む。脳のような大規模・複雑なネットワークシステムの適応過程を明らかにするには、現象を必要最小限の自由度でモデル化し、計算機シミュレーションによりモデルの挙動を検証する構成論的研究手法が有用であり、これにより生理学的理解を深化することが期待される。具体的には、脳活動・筋活動・行動などの長期マルチモーダルデータの統計的モデル化とその解釈性の確保、生理学的知見をもとに構成する脳内ネットワークのグレイボックスモデルと加齢シミュレーション、人を対象とした協調運動学習実験によるモデルの妥当性検証に取り組む。

    本研究課題ではヒトの姿勢制御メカニズムの解明のため,「感覚統合」の数理モデル構築を目的とする.姿勢制御は,多種感覚を統合し,その統合結果に従った筋活動パターンを出力するとの仮説のもと,制御に必要な感覚の組み合わせ(感覚シナジー)と駆動される筋活動パターン(筋シナジー)をモデル化することで,当該仮説を検証する.そのために主要感覚(視覚・平衡感覚・体性感覚・聴覚)の阻害・強調手法を用いて,立位姿勢時の筋活動計測を行う.次に,非負値行列因子分解を用いて感覚シナジーと筋シナジーを分離・抽出し,その関連性をモデルにより明確化することで,感覚統合と姿勢制御への影響の理解を可能とする.加えて NIRSを用いた脳活動の同時計測データに基づいた活動部位の生理学的知見と比較することにより,モデルの精緻化を図る.

    近年,自律ロボットによる家庭内・オフィス内作業が達成されつつあるが,未だその作業効率には疑問が残っており,適切なロボットの行動計画を行う必要がある.本研究では,家庭内・オフィス内という未知・動的な環境で高効率かつロバストな行動を達成するため,ロボットの行動計画法の提案を行う.家庭内での掃引作業を例に採り,遺伝的プログラミングにより高効率性を,遺伝的アルゴリズムによりロバスト性を獲得する.これらを同時に行うための競争的共進化手法を提案し,シミュレーションによりその有効性を検証する.

    従来の移動ロボット群研究において,作業の遂行順序にある制限を課すものである「順序制約」が存在する問題に対しては,作業割付の手法はその重要性にも係わらずほとんど提案されてこなかった.また,スケジューリングなどの,順序制約を考慮した作業計画立案の研究においても,順序制約は設計者により与えられていた.本研究では,ロボット自身が順序制約を短時間で計算し,それらを作業割付に反映させることが必要であるような問題の代表例として,多数物体搬送作業を扱った.

    動的モデリング技術に基づく生物の社会的適応行動解明を目指して,コオロギの喧嘩行動と集団との関係について解析を行っている.コオロギに関する様々な階層のコオロギのモデリング手法について述べ,その妥当性について議論した.結果として,さまざまな階層におけるコオロギの動的モデルを構築し,シミュレーション等で評価を行った.喧嘩行動を行うコオロギの内部構造について仮説的知見を与えることができた.
